Job summary

CES is seeking an Undercover Field Investigator to collect data for audits and investigations into fraud, waste, and abuse. The role combines analytical skills with attention to detail, reviewing documentation, interviewing stakeholders, and communicating findings to drive resolution and closure.

You will conduct field work up to 75% of the time, prepare comprehensive reports, and help train other investigators while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Private Investigator license required.
• 2-4 years of related field experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Audits/investigations from start to closure into fraud, waste, and abuse.
• Review documentation and interview involved parties to gather information.
• Conduct interviews with witnesses, claimants, and stakeholders.
• Prepare comprehensive reports for legal or audit use.
• Identify opportunities to proactively target fraud, waste, and abuse.
• Communicate findings clearly to customers, claimants and internal teams.
• Provide training and support to other auditors/investigators.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
