Job summary

CES is seeking an Undercover Field Investigator to collect data for audits and investigations into fraud, waste, and abuse. The role involves reviewing documentation, interviewing involved parties, and communicating with stakeholders to gather information for resolution.

Proactively identify fraud opportunities and ensure regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include conducting fieldwork up to 75%, compiling records, and training other auditors/investigators to improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Private Investigator license required.
• 2–4 years of related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office apps (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine audits/investigations from start to closure on fraud, waste, and abuse.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and escalating investigations as needed.
• Compile detailed records of findings ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Apply knowledge to identify strategies to detect fraudulent activity and prevent losses.
• Interview witnesses and stakeholders to gather information and perspectives.
• Communicate findings to internal teams and stakeholders with clear, professional reporting.
