Job summary

Westat is seeking Field Interviewers to support the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey (MEPS). This part-time role involves in-person interviews, travel to households, and data submission with daily transmission. Training begins January 2027, followed by two data collection periods each year through 2030.

Applicants should be 18+, have reliable transportation and a valid license, and be able to lift 20 pounds. Westat provides benefits and a structured training path.

Qualifications

• Be 18 or older (or emancipated minor) with ability to sign confidentiality agreements.
• Must complete mandatory web-based home study training and Teams sessions in Jan 2027.
• Be available for in-person training and travel as scheduled in January 2027.
• Post-training web-based and virtual training activities are required.

Responsibilities

• Contact households and conduct in-person interviews, setting appointments and collecting data.
• Transmit electronic data daily and follow data security requirements.
• Coordinate with field supervisor and complete administrative paperwork.
