RTI International is seeking part-time Field Interviewers to work on the NSDUH study, a government-sponsored health survey in the United States. You will contact households, conduct interviews, and explain the importance of participation in the study.

The role requires self-motivation, outgoing personality, and the ability to work on a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends, with travel to field sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess High School Diploma or GED.
• Effective communication through speech and listening.
• Fluency in English through reading, writing, and speaking.
• Available for entire training and data collection period.
• Must have a valid US driver's license and reliable personal automobile for business use.
• Comfortable using RTI issued tablet, laptop and other equipment.
• Access to password-protected Wi-Fi for data transmissions and admin responsibilities.
• Able to keep project information confidential.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions and after dark.
• Regular access to a computer with webcam or internet-enabled device for training and meetings.

Responsabilités

• Travel frequently to locations to recruit study participants.
• Make in-person contact with respondents to discuss the study and obtain participation.
• Approach households without a prior appointment.
• Adhere to a schedule set by the Field Supervisor for contact times.
• Perform proper administration of a computer-assisted interview and collect data.
• Participate in conference calls and online trainings.
• Manage project equipment and safeguard incentives and materials.
• Submit timely Time & Expense reports.
• Attend scheduled meetings with the project team and field supervisor.
• Participate in field observations as required.
