RTI International is seeking part-time Field Interviewers to work on the National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH), a long-running government-sponsored study in the United States.

As a field interviewer, you will contact households, conduct interviews, and convey the importance of participation. Candidates should be self-motivated, outgoing, and available for a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends, with travel as needed.

Formación

• Must possess High School Diploma or GED.
• Effective communication through speech and listening.
• Fluency in English through reading, writing, and speaking.
• Available for entire training and data collection period.
• Able to successfully complete training.
• Must have a valid US driver's license and reliable personal automobile available for business use.
• Comfortable using RTI issued tablet, laptop and other associated equipment.
• Access to password-protected Wi-Fi connection for data transmissions and administrative responsibilities.
• Able to keep project information confidential.
• Willingness to work in various types of weather conditions and after dark.
• Maintain regular access to a computer with a webcam or an internet enabled device and reliable internet connection for training and meetings.
• Position involves physical demands and lifting up to 13 pounds.
• Available for a variable work schedule as dictated by assignments.

Responsabilidades

• Travel to selected locations to recruit study participants.
• Conduct in-person interviews and discuss the study with respondents.
• Explain the study and obtain participation.
• Adhere to schedule set by the Field Supervisor.
• Administer computer-assisted interviews and collect confidential data.
• Complete online trainings and Time & Expense reports.
• Attend virtual meetings with the project team and field supervisor.
• Support field observations and maintain project equipment updates.
