Job summary

RTI International is seeking part-time Field Interviewers to work on the NSDUH, a government-sponsored research study conducted since 1971. You will contact households, conduct interviews, and communicate the study's importance to respondents.

The role requires self-motivation, outgoing personality, and the ability to work on a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends. Travel and fieldwork are expected.

Qualifications

• Must possess effective communication skills through speech and listening.
• Fluency in English through reading, writing, and speaking.
• Available for entire training and data collection period.
• Must have a valid US driver’s license and reliable personal automobile for business use.

Responsibilities

• Contact selected households and conduct interviews for NSDUH study.
• Explain the importance of participation in the NSDUH study.
• Work a variable schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Maintain confidentiality of project information and handle data securely.
• Submit Time & Expense reports timely and accurately.
• Attend virtual meetings with project team and field supervisor.
