Job summary

RTI International is seeking part-time Field Interviewers to work on the NSDUH study, contacting households, conducting interviews, and communicating the study's importance. You should be self-motivated, outgoing, and able to work on a variable schedule when respondents are likely at home.

The role starts with training and requires travel to locations, with field supervisor supervision and data collection duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Fluent English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Available for training and data collection period.
• Valid US driver's license and personal vehicle for business use.
• Able to use RTI-issued tablet and laptop.
• Confidential data handling and willingness for evening/weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Contact households and conduct interviews for NSDUH study.
• Explain the importance of participation and obtain consent.
• Travel to field locations and adhere to schedules set by Field Supervisor.
• Submit timely Time & Expense reports and complete trainings.
• Safeguard project equipment and incentives.
