RTI International is seeking part-time Field Interviewers to work on the NSDUH study, contacting households and conducting interviews to gather health-related data. You will emphasize the study's importance and support participation while operating on a flexible schedule.

The role requires self-motivation, strong communication, and the ability to work evenings and weekends in various locations. Training and travel are part of the responsibilities, with equipment handling and data security

Qualifications

• Must possess High School Diploma or GED
• Effective communication through speech and listening
• Fluency in English through reading, writing, and speaking
• Available for entire training and data collection period
• Able to successfully complete training
• Must have a valid US driver's license and reliable personal automobile for business use
• Comfortable using RTI issued tablet, laptop and other associated equipment
• Access to password-protected Wi-Fi for data transmissions and admin tasks
• Able to keep project information confidential
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions and after dark
• Regular access to a computer with webcam or internet-enabled device

Responsabilités

• Travel to locations to recruit study participants
• Making in-person contact with respondents to discuss the study and obtain participation
• Approaching households without a prior appointment
• Adhering to a schedule set by the Field Supervisor for contact times
• Performing computer-assisted interviewing and handling confidential data
• Independently managing administrative duties and trainings
• Safeguarding participant incentives and project materials
• Submitting timely Time & Expense reports
• Attend scheduled project team meetings and field observations
• Maintaining project equipment updates and completing admin tasks
• Working and driving after dark
