Job summary

Westat, Inc. is seeking Field Interviewers for the MEPS project. You will conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adults in households, traveling to training sessions and data collection sites as required.

The role involves scheduling, interviewing, and submitting signed documents while adhering to data security and confidentiality policies. Part-time, with two data collection periods each year, the position may require evening and weekend hours and occasional overnight travel.

Qualifications

• Be 18 or older and able to sign confidentiality agreements.
• Complete mandatory web-based home study training between January 4 and January 15, 2027.
• Travel to in-person training from January 19–25, 2027.
• Complete post-training home study between January 26 and January 31, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with households.
• Contact households by phone or in person to introduce the study and gain cooperation.
• Set appointments, complete the interview, and collect signed documents.
• Transmit electronic data daily and comply with data security requirements.
