Job summary

Westat, Inc. is seeking Field Interviewers for MEPS to conduct in-person interviews with adult household members across the United States.

The role requires traveling to designated locations, using Westat laptops, and completing interviews over two calendar years. Candidates must commit to mandatory training in January 2027, travel as needed including potential overnight trips, and work at least 20 hours weekly when caseloads exist.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old or emancipated minor.
• Must be available for mandatory training windows in January 2027.
• Part-time, variable-hour role with evening/weekend work when available.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person interviews with adults in households.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; collect and file documents.
• Transmit interview data daily; maintain confidentiality and security.
