Job summary

Westat is seeking motivated Field Interviewers to support the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey (MEPS) in Vincennes, IN. You will conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adults in households, coordinate visits, and collect signed documents.

The position is part-time with two yearly data-collection periods and requires travel, including possible overnight stays. Training is mandatory in January 2027, with ongoing web and virtual training.

Qualifications

• Be 18 or older and eligible to sign confidentiality agreements.
• Complete mandatory web-based home study and Teams sessions within dates shown.
• Attend in-person training and post-training activities as required.
• Work at least 20 hours per week when available, including evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person interviews with adults in households; use Westat laptop.
• Schedule visits, collect data, and transmit electronic data daily when working.
• Travel to local and occasional overnight assignments; training travel required.
