Job summary

Westat, Inc. seeks Field Interviewers to conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews for MEPS across a nationally representative sample using a Westat laptop. Interviewers contact households, set appointments, complete interviews, and collect signed documents.

This part-time, variable-hour position requires training, occasional travel including overnight stays, and daily transmission of data. Candidates must meet background checks, have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle, and

Qualifications

• Be 18 or older and able to sign confidentiality agreements.
• Complete mandatory web-based home study training before start date.
• Travel to in-person training and to field locations as required.
• Complete additional mandatory virtual trainings following in-person training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adults.
• Contact households, set appointments, and obtain cooperation.
• Submit administrative paperwork and transmit data daily.
• Follow data security and confidentiality requirements.
