Westat is seeking Field Interviewers to conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews for MEPS. You'll contact households, schedule interviews, collect data, and ensure secure handling of documents.

Training is mandatory in January 2027, with travel to local or long-distance assignments possible. Part-time, with year-round data collection periods, evenings and weekends often required.

Qualifications

• Be 18 or older (or an emancipated minor) with the ability to enter binding confidentiality agreements to protect project information.
• Be available to complete mandatory web-based home study training, including required Microsoft Teams video sessions, between January 4 and January 15, 2027, prior to the start of in-person training.
• Be available to travel to and attend mandatory in-person training. Traveling on January 19, 2027, and completing a five-and-a-half-day in-person training that starts on January 20th, and ends on January 25th, 2027.
• Be available to complete additional mandatory web-based and virtual training activities, following the in-person training, including a post-training home study between January 26th and January 31st, 2027.

Responsabilités

• Contact households in-person and by phone to introduce the study and gain cooperation.
• Set appointments, complete the interview, and collect and follow up with signed documents.
• Transmit electronic data daily when working and comply with data security requirements.
• Complete and submit administrative paperwork to field supervisor.
