Qualifications

• High school diploma with STEM focus plus 5+ years in telecom/engineering roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology.
• 2+ years of experience with electrical and RF systems.
• Hands-on site surveys and field installation experience.
• Deep expertise in communications systems, radios, datalinks, antennas and network gear.
• Proven record troubleshooting complex technical systems in field or operational settings.
• Experience with maintenance, sustainment and configuration management.
• Ability to make sound technical decisions under time pressure in austere environments.
• Clear communication, including training customers and working across teams.
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Site surveys: Assess deployment locations before installation and record findings.
• Field installation: Install, configure, and hand over systems to customers.
• System configuration and validation: Configure deployed systems and new capabilities.
• Field troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix hardware, software and subsystems quickly.
• Maintenance and sustainment: Own parts readiness and fleet upkeep.
• Field modifications: Implement approved changes to fielded hardware.
• Configuration management: Maintain accurate records for deployed assets.
• Provide customer training and technical support in the field.
• Cross-team coordination with engineering, operations, logistics, and customers.
