Job summary

FCX Performance, an Applied Industrial Technologies Company, is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform installation, calibration, troubleshooting and repair of instrumentation and control systems at customer sites in Greensboro, NC and surrounding areas. The role requires lifting up to 75 lbs, travel to customer sites, and documenting service actions.

Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, PLC programming familiarity, and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years installing, maintaining, and repairing process/control equipment.
Strong mechanical proficiency and ability to use hand/power tools.
Electrical/electrician experience preferred.
PLC programming and troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

Perform field maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of instrumentation and control systems at customer sites.
Calibrate pressure, temperature, flow and other instrumentation; commission instrumentation and shoot loops.
Complete documentation for service actions and maintain logs of service calls, parts, and orders.
Travel to and from job sites using company vehicle and maintain safe driving habits.
