Dwyer Instruments, PTY is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform repairs, calibrations, and on-site installations at customer sites across California. You will troubleshoot electronics, run service trips, and provide exceptional customer service while applying strong technical knowledge.

The role requires clear communication, the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users, and the aptitude to work in varied environments. Occasional travel and overtime may be required.

Formación

• Associate of Science or vocational training in electrical, mechanical or instrumentation.
• 1-3 years related work experience; 3+ years in fluid dynamics, measuring instrumentation, or process controls is a plus.
• Proficient with HART, Profibus, Modbus or other digital bus communications.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills; ability to explain technical information to non-technical users.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues on different electronic components.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot, maintain, test, and calibrate industrial flow, level, and temperature instrumentation at the customer site.
• Installation start-up and calibration at the customer location.
• Handle technical support calls, respond to emails on post-sale product support, and travel to customer sites for troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot and maintain instruments interfacing with control systems (DCS, PLCs, MMI, SCADA) and field devices.
• Calibrate and input operating parameters per customer plant specifications.
• Document field service visits via Field Service Reports and expense reports.
• Train personnel, customers, and channel partners on installation, operation, configuration, and usage of products.
