Job summary

Pacific Northern Environmental LLC seeks a Controls & Instrumentation Technician to support start-up and testing of power distribution equipment and related control systems. You will assist in field and shop technical services, troubleshooting, and panel fabrication support when needed.

The role requires 2–5 years of experience, an AAS in instrumentation/related fields, and willingness to travel to projects in the Pacific Northwest and Idaho.

Qualifications

• AAS degree in instrumentation, mechatronics, or industrial electronics.
• 2–5 years of relevant field experience preferred.
• Understanding hazards around electrical circuits and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform Start-up and testing on instrumentation, VFDs, PLCs, and associated equipment.
• Identify and troubleshoot problems as they arise in systems.
• Work independently when required and travel to client sites as needed.
• Occasionally work after hours or weekends; travel up to two weeks for out-of-area jobs.
