Job summary

The Dupps Company is seeking an Instrument & Controls Technician to join our team in the United States. You will develop PLC and HMI programs for our equipment control systems both in-house and on site, and support field service and spare parts activities.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Controls Engineering, strong PLC/HMI skills (Aveva, Allen-Bradley/Wonderware), and experience with MRP/ERP systems. Travel up to 60% and passport readiness are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Controls Engineering or similar field.
Experience with PLC/HMI programming (Aveva and Allen-Bradley/Wonderware).
Experience with MRP/BOM in ERP environments.
Proficient with AutoCAD; Inventor and 3D CAD software a plus.
Travel up to 60%; passport required.
Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop PLC and HMI programs for equipment control systems, in-house and in the field.
Assist Customer Service with field problems and spare parts quotations by researching product history.
Respond to technical information requests and review engineering requirements on sales orders.
Create single-line diagrams and electrical schematics; design site plans for motor and device layouts.
Travel to sites for installations and start-up interface; provide lean design improvements.
