Job summary
Dutech Systems is seeking an experienced controls engineer to join our industrial automation team. The role focuses on PLC-based control systems, SCADA integration, and ensuring robust automation solutions across production lines.
The ideal candidate has 6+ years in information systems or automation, strong ladder logic and HMI skills, and a track record of coordinating cross-functional projects in manufacturing environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- 6+ years of experience in Information Systems, industrial automation, or related technical roles.
- Strong experience with SCADA, SQL, 4GL programming, scripting, and server-based technologies.
- Hands-on experience programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting PLC-based control systems.
- Strong knowledge of ladder logic, structured programming, I/O mapping, and HMI integration.
- Experience troubleshooting automated production and material-handling systems in manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of industrial communication networks and plant-floor device integration.
- Experience developing and executing integrated test plans.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills.
