Qualifications

• HS Graduate or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in the day to day activities of a survey crew.
• Be proficient in the operation of various surveying instruments including total stations, data collectors, levels, GPS equipment, etc.
• Have basic knowledge and understanding of the requirements for various types surveys.
• Be able to perform basic surveying calculations.

Responsibilities

• Transport, operation and set up instruments and equipment associated with surveying land and preparing job site for construction activities.
• Clear brush or trees away from survey line.
• Lays out stakes to prepare for elevation measurements.
