Job summary

LJA Surveying in Pearland, Texas is seeking an Instrument Person to transport and set up surveying instruments and prepare job sites for surveys.

You will assist the party chief, clear brush, lay out stakes, hold prisms, measure distances, and operate survey equipment outdoors under varying conditions. A HS diploma is required; strong communication and client-relations skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external clients.

Responsibilities

• Transport and set up instruments and equipment for surveying land.
