Job summary

ADG | Artisan Design Group in Knightdale, NC seeks a Field Manager to oversee field installation operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.

You will coordinate with builders, superintendents, and independent installers, manage materials, and resolve installation challenges while maintaining clean and compliant job sites. This role requires strong problem-solving and field-management capabilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience managing multiple projects in a construction or field environment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
• Ability to read and interpret job specifications, measurements, and installation requirements.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions in the field.
• Proficiency with mobile technology, including iPad and iPhone.
• Ability to communicate effectively with builders, installers, and internal teams.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with builders, superintendents, and independent installers to ensure installation success.
• Perform pre-installation inspections to verify readiness and identify issues for timely resolution.
• Complete field measurements and verify quantities required for full installation.
• Provide technical guidance to installers and ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and builder requirements.
• Monitor active job sites to ensure safety, cleanliness, and adherence to quality installation standards.
• Diagnose installation issues and implement effective solutions to maintain project timelines and quality.
• Perform final inspections and ensure timely completion of punch lists and QA items.
• Schedule and coordinate independent contractors to support efficient project completion.
• Monitor installer performance, quality, and reliability to support contractor utilization decisions.
• Maintain accurate project tracking, reporting, and system updates, including lot tracking and required logs.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall quality.
• Other duties as assigned.
