Caterpillar Inc. seeks a skilled specialist to plan and execute upgrades on industrial gas turbine packages, working from drawings to meet customer specs and schedules. You will train others and promote continuous improvement while traveling extensively.

Qualifications

• Teamwork and ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum 1 year hands-on experience in turbo-machinery systems preferred.
• Understanding of EHSS policies and safe operation of related tools.
• Able to travel >75% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute removal, modification, rework, and installation of package controls.
• Upgrade turbine packages to customer specifications per schedule.
• Work from engineering drawings and schematics with limited instructions.
• Lead and train less experienced FIRs and promote continuous improvement.
