Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Field Integrity Engineer to plan, execute, and lead upgrades of package systems across multiple sites. You will work from engineering drawings, install and test new controls, and mentor junior technicians.

Travel >75% domestically and internationally is required; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. Expect a safety-forward role with strong collaboration between factory and field teams.

Qualifications

• Leadership skills to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Advanced training in package system upgrades/refurbishment.
• Ability to travel >75% domestically and internationally.
• 3–5 years of turbo-machinery experience including CP balance of plant.
• Strong problem solving, computer, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safe operation of related tooling and equipment.
• Passport, TWIC card, corporate credit card, offshore readiness.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and assist in upgrading package systems per project ACS.
• Lead and direct activities of other FIRs on project deliverables.
• Operate, inspect, and maintain equipment for safe upgrades.
• Rewire junction boxes and inter-connect wiring per project ACS.
• Act as project leader and customer liaison on lower-complexity projects.
• Assist commissioning FSR with cold loop checks before demobilizing.
• Inventory and maintain parts/tools for PSU field installations.
• Support development of less experienced PSU Technicians.
• Assist in building pre-engineered kits and sub-assemblies.
