Job summary

NineStar Connect is seeking a highly motivated Installation & Repair Technician to join our growing team in Central Indiana. You’ll install and maintain essential broadband, security, and voice services for homes and businesses, using fiber and copper networks to set up, test, and program devices.

You will troubleshoot service issues, provide customer training on installed services, complete documentation, and operate company vehicles with safety protocols in mind.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent plus 4 years of related experience or education in communications, telephone, or data systems.
• Certifications: Network+ and BICSI Technician (TECH) required.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair broadband, security, access control, wireless, and voice services for residential and business customers.
• Use fiber and copper infrastructure to set up and maintain systems, test equipment, and program devices.
• Troubleshoot service issues, wiring problems, and faulty equipment.
• Provide product training to customers on installed services.
• Complete service documentation including work orders, reports, billing, and timesheets.
• Operate bucket truck and follow safety protocols.
