Job summary

KLA seeks an Instrumentation/Industrial Engineer to support the installation and commissioning of semiconductor tools at customer sites. The role requires expertise in electronics, optics, and mechanical/electro‑mechanical systems, with strong communication and the ability to travel domestically and internationally.

The candidate should have a related degree or equivalent experience in complex capital equipment for semiconductors and be proficient with MS Office and various operating systems.

Qualifications

• ASET minimum degree or equivalent work experience in supporting complex capital equipment for the semiconductor industry.

Responsibilities

• Achieve predictable Cycle Times and Warranty Starts for new tools installed at customer sites.
• Setup, alignment, calibration, troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing of highly complex capital equipment.
• Represent the company to the customer and ensure satisfaction with installation activities.
• Assure operational quality of system equipment.
• Work with KLA regions and customers to verify new tool performance and transfer tool responsibility.
• Seeks warranty sign-off on newly installed tools.
