Job summary

KLA is seeking a Product Installation Engineer for the SPTS line, based in Fort Collins, CO with up to 90% travel domestically and internationally. The role requires US citizenship and involves installing new tools at customer sites, troubleshooting at system level, and preparing installation documentation.

Responsibilities include coordinating field service reports, managing travel documents, and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in semiconductor or related field/ military service experience.

Responsibilities

• Own installation of new tools at customer sites independently and only occasionally require guidance from managers.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex system level problems during installations using standard procedures and BKMs.
• Take full ownership of installation administrative tasks such as preparations of field service reports and daily pass downs on installation progress and non-conformances.
• Obtain all necessary international travel documents and manage their personal lives to be ready to travel for extended periods.
• 80 - 90 % travel, domestic and internationally by commercial transportation to customer sites.
• Assist junior engineers as necessary and provide guidance and technical assistance at customer sites.
