Job summary

KLA is seeking a field service professional to install, upgrade, and service KLASE tools at customer sites in Hillsboro and beyond. You will troubleshoot technical equipment, prepare reports, and manage travel logistics for extensive assignments, often 6 days a week, 10 hours per day.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years of related experience or equivalent degrees and are willing to travel up to 60% nationally and internationally.

Qualifications

Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience or equivalent degree.
Preferred degrees include AS/BS in electronics-related fields.
Willing to travel up to 60% domestically and internationally.
Ability to install and upgrade KLASE tools and document work.
Must be able to work 6 days per week, 10 hours per day.

Responsibilities

Install new tools at customer sites with guidance and supervision as needed following procedures and cycles.
Evaluate, analyze, diagnose and troubleshoot technical equipment problems related to installation.
Prepare field service reports and daily passdowns on installation progress and non-conformances.
Take ownership of administrative install tasks (passdown, install progress, non-conformances).
Obtain all necessary international travel documents and be ready to travel extensively (60% travel).
