Job summary

Stryker is seeking an on-site installation technician to set up surgical light suspensions, booms, and video systems. You will test, inspect, troubleshoot, and document installations while coordinating with sales, project engineering, and field teams.

The role requires 100% overnight travel, with travel expenses covered. A high school diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree is a plus, and 0–2 years of related experience is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• 0-2 years technical experience or equivalent skill set.

Responsibilities

• Install surgical light suspension systems and video integration systems to meet design specs.
• Perform on-site testing, inspections, and documentation per quality standards.
• Coordinate travel and schedule to ensure timely completion of installation tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of installation activities and communicate progress to stakeholders.
