Job summary

Stryker is seeking a field installation technician to lead on-site setup of surgical light suspensions, booms, and video integration systems in hospital environments. You will install, test, and validate equipment per CAD drawings and wiring diagrams, working with electricians and other staff.

This role requires 100% overnight travel, Monday through Friday, with travel and lodging provided. You will maintain records, coordinate with project teams, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• 0–2 years related technical experience or comparable skill set.

Responsibilities

• Confirms site readiness and performs detailed equipment inventory.
• Installs surgical light suspension systems, booms, video integration, and cabling.
• Programs, tests, and inspects video sources per design specs and quality standards.
• Documents and maintains records of installation activities.
• Coordinates travel and daily schedules to ensure timely completion.
