Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Advanced degree desired.
• 8+ years of progressive telecommunications operations experience.
• Experience with large-footprint carrier networks and systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and executive oversight for installation and maintenance across New York State.
• Lead a large, multi-tiered field operations organization supporting Verizon Consumer, Business, Wholesale, and Enterprise customers.
• Oversee installation and repair of POTS, Fios, HSI, Special Services, and CPE.
• Direct end-to-end service delivery and activation across complex customer services.
• Establish preventive and corrective maintenance strategies to maximize network uptime.
• Enforce SLA compliance and minimize MTTR across outside plant and customer premises facilities.
• Establish quality control frameworks, standardized field workflows, and operational metrics.
• Reduce repeat trouble reports and improve first-time resolution rates and customer experience.
• Define and execute long-term market-wide I&M service delivery strategy.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and career growth pathways for field operations talent.
• Cultivate collaborative union partnerships.
• Build, forecast, and manage multi-million-dollar annual operational budgets.
• Drive cost efficiencies and optimize truck-roll productivity.
• Oversee fleet and equipment resources and minimize total cost-to-serve.
• Cultivate a safety-first culture across customer premises and field environments.
• Champion AI-driven workflows, automation, and other technological solutions.
