RK&K is seeking a Construction Inspector with experience in water/wastewater utility construction inspection or infrastructure construction. The role supports Field Engineering and Inspection projects originating in the Treasure Coast and Southeast FL.

Inspectors work independently on project sites and closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure conformance with plans, codes, and contract documents across water, wastewater, stormwater, and related facilities.

Competenze

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience inspecting water/wastewater facilities and infrastructure preferred.
Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.

Mansioni

Conduct regular inspections of water/wastewater, stormwater, and related facilities to verify compliance with plans and codes.
Inspect roadway infrastructure including earthwork, asphalt, concrete, drainage, and flatwork.
Provide field engineering, contract support, and documentation on site and in office.
Ensure workmanship and materials meet project specs and industry standards.
Document all inspection activities with daily reports and organized field files.
Coordinate material testing to ensure conformance with specs.
Perform field measurements for pay item documentation and contract records.
Assist in closeout activities with punch lists and final inspection reports.
Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and project teams.
