RK&K is seeking a Construction Inspector to support water/wastewater and infrastructure projects in the Treasure Coast and Southeast Florida. You will inspect utilities and roadwork, review plans, and document field activities on active sites.

Formación

• 1–3+ years of construction administration/inspection experience
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs, shop drawings, engineering reports and test results
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and tablet-based PDF annotators
• Valid Driver License and suitable driving records

Responsabilidades

• Conduct regular inspections of water/wastewater, stormwater, utilities and related facilities construction projects to verify compliance with approved plans and codes
• Conduct regular inspections of roadway infrastructure including earthwork, asphalt, concrete, drainage, flatwork to verify compliance with plans and contract documents
• Provide field engineering, construction management and contract support services on site and in office
• Ensure workmanship and materials meet established industry standards and project specs
• Document all inspection activities with daily reports and organized field files
• Coordinate material testing activities to ensure materials meet project specifications
• Conduct field measurements for pay item documentation and other contract docs
• Participate in close-out activities including punch lists and final inspection reports
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, sub-contractors, and project teams
