Job summary

DNV Energy Systems’ Renewables and Power Grids Advisory group is seeking a Site Visit Inspector to join the EEPS department. This field-focused role will support construction monitoring, site observation, and in-office technical work across energy system projects.

You will serve as a field ambassador, documenting construction progress, quality observations, non-conformances, safety observations, and potential schedule impacts.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical diploma in wind energy, renewable energy, electrical technology, civil/construction technology, engineering technology, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated interviewing, investigation, root‑cause analysis, and evidence gathering skills.
• Demonstrated experience working safely on active construction or operating energy sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits for wind, solar, battery energy storage, and thermal generation projects (active construction sites and operating facilities).
• Observe and document construction progress, workmanship, installation quality, QA/QC activities, non-conformances, and potential schedule impacts.
• Prepare accurate, concise site visit reports using approved templates and tools; coordinate with subject matter experts as needed.
• Manage travel, availability, documentation, and field assignments following safety protocols.
