Job summary

Real Property Management is seeking a Field Inspector to protect and enhance the value of managed properties through thorough site inspections and accurate reporting. You will identify maintenance and safety issues, document findings, and coordinate with managers and vendors to ensure lease compliance and tenant satisfaction.

The role requires on-site field work, strong communication, and the ability to plan efficient routes while upholding company standards and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting property field inspections and documenting findings.
• Strong written and verbal communication for reports and tenant interactions.
• Ability to manage time and routes to maximize daily productivity.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of managed properties to assess condition and compliance.
• Identify maintenance issues, safety hazards, unauthorized occupants, and lease violations.
• Document findings with detailed reports, photos, notes, and recommendations.
• Create Make Ready Inspection Estimates from Move Out Inspections for repairs.
• Install, maintain, and manage code boxes/lockboxes for secure access.
• Place and remove For Rent signage to support leasing and brand consistency.
• Verify readiness for showings, including exterior presentation and signage visibility.
• Coordinate with property managers, maintenance teams, and vendors to report issues.
• Perform move-in/out/make ready/vacancy inspections to identify repairs needed.
• Plan daily routes to maximize productivity across zones.
• Interact professionally with tenants, neighbors, and the public.
• Elevate urgent issues such as safety risks or property damage.
• Monitor and track KPIs to improve company performance.
