Job summary

Real Property Management is seeking a Field Inspector to protect and enhance property values by performing on-site inspections, reporting findings, and coordinating with managers and vendors. You will verify readiness for showings, document issues, and help keep properties in lease-compliant and rent-ready condition.

The role involves driving to multiple properties, taking detailed notes, photos, and recommendations while maintaining strong tenant and owner relations in a fast-paced field

Qualifications

• Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass background check and drug screening.
• Reliable vehicle and self-motivation are required.
• Ability to conduct field inspections and document findings.
• Ability to create Make Ready Inspection Estimates from move-out inspections.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and scheduled field inspections of managed properties.
• Identify maintenance issues, safety hazards, unauthorized occupants, and lease violations.
• Document inspection findings with detailed reports, photos, notes, and recommendations.
• Create a Make Ready Inspection Estimate to ensure rent-ready condition.
• Install/maintain lockboxes for secure property access.
• Place and remove for-rent signage to support leasing efforts.
• Verify property readiness for showings and signage visibility.
• Coordinate with property managers, maintenance teams, and vendors to report issues.
• Perform move-in/move-out/make-ready/vacancy inspections.
• Plan daily routes to maximize productivity across zones.
• Interact professionally with tenants, neighbors, and the public.
• Escalate urgent safety or security issues as needed.
• Monitor KPIs to improve company performance.
