Keish Environmental is seeking a seasoned General Construction Inspector for Southern California projects, with a strong focus on field oversight and compliance. The role emphasizes thorough site inspections, documentation, and coordination across multiple stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of highway or public works inspection experience, familiarity with Caltrans standards, and the ability to work nights and extended field shifts. Prevailing wage applies for project work.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of direct construction inspection experience on highways or public works projects.
• Strong knowledge of concrete, steel, earthwork, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.
• Experience with Caltrans or other public infrastructure projects preferred.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and extended field shifts as required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, CPM software (Primavera, MS Project), and documentation tools.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and reliable transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Independently inspect infrastructure projects to ensure construction aligns with plans, specs, and codes.
• Conduct daily site visits (95% field-based), attend meetings, and maintain detailed inspection records.
• Monitor stormwater (CGP), SWPPP/BMP compliance, and environmental controls.
• Review site safety practices, construction techniques, and schedule adherence.
• Perform and interpret field tests; verify materials and workmanship.
• Document findings, redline as-builts, and track all aspects of construction for compliance.
• Identify risks and propose sound engineering solutions in real-time.
