Job summary

Southern Roofing and Renovation in Memphis, TN seeks a full-time Field Inspector for exterior restorations and insurance claims. You will lead at the site, review scopes, and present a clear, fact-based damage narrative to adjusters.

This role involves climbing multi-story roofs, taking precise measurements and photos, and documenting all work in AccuLynx. You will partner with the Project Manager, maintain timely appointments, and strive to meet buy-rate goals for initial and reinspection

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation capable of hauling a ladder.
• Ability to set up and climb ladders, inspect steep and multi-story roofs.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Comfortable climbing steep roofs (12' pitch and higher).
• Familiarity with AccuLynx and prior experience with exterior restorations or insurance claim inspections.

Responsibilities

• Lead at the site by reviewing the prepared scope and presenting a complete, fact-based picture of the damage.
• Climb roofs, capture precise measurements and photos, document everything in AccuLynx.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager and keep appointments on time.
• Drive buy-rate goals for initial and reinspection inspections and tell the damage story clearly.
