Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Construction/Operations/Maintenance Inspector for an on-site role in Huntsville, AL. The inspector will monitor construction, operations, maintenance, and repairs to ensure compliance with contract drawings, specifications, and NASA MSFC standards.

The job requires US citizenship and ability to pass a federal background check and drug screen. The candidate should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, with a Construction Management

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; construction management degree a plus.
• 3+ years of inspection experience on construction projects preferred.
• HVAC master/journeyman experience highly valued; electrician experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide inspection and surveillance of construction, operations, maintenance, and repair activities to ensure conformance with contract drawings, specifications and NASA MSFC standards.
• Review construction submittals for accuracy and monitor via Procore.
• Review and evaluate the accuracy of requests for progress payments.
• Provide daily inspection reports summarizing progress and schedule.
• Maintain orderly project files and related documents.
• Monitor RFIs and contract documents to ensure continuity of construction activities.
• Participate in pre-final and final inspections and punch-listing.
• Review as-built drawings and O&M manuals for accuracy; comment as needed.
