Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Construction Inspector for full-time, on-site work at the MSFC campus in Huntsville, Alabama. The role involves monitoring construction, operations, maintenance, and repairs to ensure conformance with NASA MSFC standards, contract drawings, and specifications, with responsibilities including submittal reviews and daily inspection reports.

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen and pass a federal background review and drug screen.

Formación

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required; Construction Management degree preferred.
• 3+ years of inspection experience on U.S. Government projects preferred.
• HVAC/Electrical trade experience valued.

Responsabilidades

• Provide inspection and surveillance of construction activities to ensure conformance with contract drawings, specs and NASA standards at MSFC.
• Review construction submittals for accuracy and monitor them via Procore.
• Review and evaluate requests for progress payments.
• Provide daily inspection reports summarizing progress and schedule adherence.
• Generate site inspection reports and keep them current.
• Maintain orderly files for correspondence, meetings, payments, schedules, and punch lists.
• Review and handle RFIs and contract documents to ensure continuity of work.
• Participate in pre-final and final inspections and prepare punch-lists.
