Job Details
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Administer medications in the patient's home, specialty clinics, and Physician Partnership clinic settings.
  2. Assess and monitor pre and post-injection/infusion treatments as directed by program protocols.
  3. Complete necessary documentation based on policies and procedures, and as directed by the College of Nurses and Innomar ISO accreditation standards.
  4. Provide patient/caregiver education based on product monographs and program protocols, individually or in groups.
  5. Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and product complaints following Innomar training and policies & procedures.
  6. Ensure reliable availability based on the employment agreement to meet the needs of the IBU and the Nursing and clinics KPIs.
  7. Communicate and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to meet timelines for scheduling appointments and treatments.
  8. Communicate effectively with Patients/Caregivers for appointment setup and drug delivery.
  9. Participate in team web-based meetings and training sessions to maintain professional standards.
  10. Participate in specialized client-related trainings as required.
  11. Adhere to professional nursing standards as prescribed by professional associations and Innomar.
  12. Work collaboratively within the healthcare team, providing oversight and delegation to RPN/LPN as authorized.
  13. Travel within designated IBUs to meet operational needs.
  14. Follow all nursing and clinic standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  15. Follow all health and safety standards as per provincial regulations.
  16. Complete ongoing and annual education training within specified timeframes.
  17. Perform other related duties as required.
  18. Be available on standby/on call as needed.
Experience and Educational Requirements
  1. Relevant experience as a Registered Nurse.
  2. At least 1 year of IV initiation experience.
  3. Current registration with a licensing body; CPR certification.
  4. Experience in critical care, emergency, or homecare settings.
  5. Additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, MS, CVAA, and central line experience are assets.
  6. Proficiency in MS Office and internet access.
  7. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  8. Ability to work independently and travel within the region.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
  1. Knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution industry (asset).
  2. Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
  3. Effective time management and problem-solving skills.
  4. Valid driver’s license and insurance.

The successful candidate may have daily contact with English-speaking customers, patients, or peers from cross-functional teams.
