Job summary

General Motors seeks a Field Implementation Manager to oversee DRP deployments across the Southeast and Northeast regions. This field-based role requires up to 60% travel to dealerships and relocation within 60 days to cities approved by leadership.

You will serve as GM's SME for the Digital Retail Platform, leading regional dealer implementations, ensuring on-time go-lives, and maintaining strong dealer engagement through high-touch, concierge-style support and clear communications.

Qualifications

• Background in dealership consulting or automotive retail operations.
• Strong understanding of the retail automotive industry terminology, dealership structures, and workflow processes.
• Experience with dealership software platforms (DMS, CRM, and digital retailing).
• Knowledge of dealership desking or F&I processes.
• Willingness to stay current on evolving digital solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional dealership group implementations with high-touch support.
• Manage the implementation pipeline from pre-onboarding to go-live.
• Serve as SME for GM's DRP and automotive digital retailing practices.
• Maintain dealer engagement to drive milestones and readiness.
• Act as a relationship manager for dealers during implementation.
• Identify and mitigate DRP risks proactively.
• Coordinate with DRP implementation partners.
• Deliver presentations and product demonstrations.
