Job summary

Energy Transfer LP is seeking an instrument and electrical technician to support field operations, plants, and pipelines. You will repair, install, and troubleshoot control systems including SCADA, PLC/DCS, and related equipment within gas and liquid facilities.

The role requires reading technical manuals, following DOT/PSM standards, and ensuring safety compliance. On-call duties and occasional travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with control systems and instrumentation preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT 192/193/195 and OSHA 1910 related to electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA systems and instrument equipment across plant, pipeline, and compressor sites.
• Maintain pneumatic and intelligent instruments, electrical distribution, and motor control gear.
• Troubleshoot PLCs or DCS and process or safety controls; read manuals and schematics.
• Perform testing, calibration, and documentation per industry standards and regulations.
• Support on-call rotations and participate in safety programs and incident reporting.
