Job summary

EMIT Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Field I/E Controls Technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair natural gas compressor control systems at customer sites.

You will work with the Field Service Supervisor to ensure safe, efficient field execution and outstanding customer service, with travel within the assigned region. You will collaborate closely with the team, document findings, and adhere to safety and quality standards in every job.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of field service in natural gas equipment or related electrical systems.
• Technical certification or associate degree is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within region.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and instrumentation control systems.
• Support field installations of control panels according to drawings.
• Perform start-ups, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Provide clear communication and responsive customer service onsite.
• Document work, findings, and recommendations in service records.
• Collaborate with the Field Service Supervisor to plan work.
• Maintain tools, test equipment, and company vehicles in safe condition.
