Job summary

Laars Heating Systems is seeking an experienced professional to join our Product Support Team to provide technical product support for contractors, manufacturers representatives, homeowners and other Laars related customers.

Responsibilities include documentation and technical support across plumbing, electrical, gas, venting, and troubleshooting; participate and support service procedures and bulletin documentation; attend field job sites; communicate field feedback to sales, service and

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience with HVAC systems, equipment, design, applications and service.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office.
• Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical and architectural drawings.
• Knowledge of boiler and water heater sequencing and Building Automation Systems (BACNet, Lon Works, Modbus).

Responsibilities

• Provide documentation and technical support for products including plumbing, electrical, gas and venting.
• Participate and support the creation of technical service procedures and bulletin documentation.
• Provide parts identification for Laars products.
• Attend field job sites for product support as required.
• Attend job related courses to update product knowledge and skills.
• Communicate field feedback to sales, service and engineering groups.
• Participate in Laars–sponsored educational training seminars.
• Act as a liaison between technical support and engineering for new troubleshooting needs.
• Participate in new product development process by attending product and service review meetings.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
