Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced controls technician to diagnose, repair, install, and commission building automation systems on customer sites in North America. You will mentor junior technicians, prepare field proposals for retrofits, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction while delivering safe, efficient energy management solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six (6) years Commercial Controls troubleshooting experience in the HVAC industry.
• Vocational School program graduate or associate's degree in a technical field, or two years’ experience in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems.
• Ability to install and/or service electronic control systems and HVAC equipment.
• Effective writing skills and ability to explain technical information.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex control systems malfunctions.
• Mentor technicians on building automation activities.
• Provide field proposals for retrofits and upgrades.
• Install and modify software and graphics.
• Communicate with customers and ensure satisfaction.
