Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a field-based HVAC/Controls technician to commission, program, and service on-site at customer locations. You will document verification, validate sequences, and close out projects while ensuring customer satisfaction.

You will bring 7+ years of HVAC/Controls experience, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, and prefer technical training. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and handheld devices is required, and a valid driver's license is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Typically at least 7 years of HVAC/Controls experience.
• Technical school or formal training preferred.
• Microsoft Office proficiency; handheld device usage.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months; clean record.
• Previous experience with DDC controls system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Commission, program, and set up graphics, communications link, end-to-end testing, troubleshooting and servicing on assigned projects.
• Document point-to-point verification, sequence of operations validation and job close-out requirements.
• Represent the company as the direct customer contact and service products at customer locations to ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs.
• Maintain safety standards and manage on-site environmental and asset security.
