Job summary

Matrix Project Services is seeking a Field HSE Supervisor to oversee project safety, accountability, and incident management, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment across assigned sites.

You will lead safety programs, perform inspections, investigate incidents, and mentor HSE staff while coordinating with site operations and client personnel. The role blends field presence (about 30%) with office-based analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

• Health and Safety degree, CSP/CHST or equivalent preferred.
• 5+ years safety experience in construction or industrial settings.
• Supervisory/management experience in industrial maintenance or capital work.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state and local safety regulations.
• TWIC Card required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to oversee multiple projects on one site.
• Experience developing direct reports into higher responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Support safety program development and administration.
• Conduct inspections and incident investigations; track actions.
• Assist in safety orientation training for staff and crafts.
• Review standards and stay updated on regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with Site Operations Leader and client safety personnel.
• Enter safety metrics and investigations into Intelex/Matrix systems.
