Job summary

Michels Energy Group, Inc. is seeking an Health, Safety, and Environmental Coordinator II to perform site visits, audits, and incident investigations nationwide. You will support operations with HSE program compliance, conduct trainings, and orient new hires to safety policies.

The role requires 3+ years in safety and 5+ years in oil/gas, with travel up to 75% and a preference for bilingual English/Spanish. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, and driving and safety credentials are desirable.

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum experience in a safety role
• 5 years experience in oil or gas industry preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience with duct banks, trenching, data centers, underground telecom or critical systems preferred
• Safety credentials (BCSP/CUSP) desired
• Valid driver's license and clean record
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Flexible schedule including nights/weekends
• 75% travel regionally expected

Responsibilities

• Conduct job-site visitations, audits, incident investigations and emergency response
• Assist operations with compliance and communication of HSE programs
• Lead meetings, trainings and new hire orientations on HSE topics
