Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking a Field Human Resources Manager to lead HR initiatives across 17 locations, including Naperville, IL. You will drive onboarding, retention, leadership development, workforce planning, compliance, and associate relations while coaching site managers.

This role requires strong communication, matrixed reporting, and up to 50% overnight travel. Regular onsite presence at local operations and partnership with the Area HR Manager are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years’ experience in Staffing, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Professional certification in SHRM or HRCI is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HR functions and employment law.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to travel 50% overnight travel.
• Regular, predictable attendance is essential.
• Willingness to travel as necessary and complete background checks are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead local HR initiatives related to Talent Development and Onboarding.
• Coach managers on policies and procedures to ensure consistency.
• Partner with Area HR Manager and Operations to support alignment.
• Oversee associate relations, compliance, and HR analytics.
• Travel up to 50% to support 17 locations and maintain regular onsite presence.
